Our Fisher & Paykel washing machine bearing kits replace part numbers 425006P and 425009P with two 6005 bearings and one lip seal, and our listing names the 18 Fisher & Paykel model numbers they suit. The kit fits only those models, so check your model number against the list before you order.
Know your model number? Find it in the list below. If it's there, either kit is listed for it; the kits differ in their bearings, and only the 6005-2RS kit's listing gives the lip seal size.

Our team's advice is plain: the kit fits only the models on the listing. Our listing names models by number, not by top loader or front loader, so match the full model number on your machine rather than the type. If your model isn't in the list, we can't confirm this kit for it.
Not sure of your model number? Fisher & Paykel's own Help & Support site has user guides and parts manuals for its products.
425006P, 425009P, 403471Y and 429565P: what the numbers mean
- 425006P and 425009P are the part numbers both our kits replace.
- 429565P is a part number our kits can be used in place of, as both listings say.
- 403471Y, at the end of our kit titles, is 425009P's manufacturer number, our team confirms.
If you searched any of these numbers, the two kits above are what we list for them.
The bearings: 6005, deep groove, C3
Both kits use two 6005 bearings. A standard 6005 is 25 mm bore x 47 mm outside diameter x 12 mm wide, the same figures as our bearing size chart.
Our team confirms the kit bearings are deep groove ball bearings with C3 clearance. C3 means radial internal clearance greater than normal; our seal codes guide explains how the clearance code sits next to the seal code.
The two kits differ in their bearings:
- The ITJ kit has Japanese-made ITJ bearings. ITJ is our Japanese bearing brand.
- The 6005-2RS kit has 6005-2RS bearings. 2RS means rubber seals on both sides.
Who should replace the bearings
We don't give repair steps for washing machines. Our kit listing puts it simply: if your Fisher & Paykel washing machine sounds like a train coming through the house, it's time to replace the bearings and lip seal.
Have a qualified appliance repairer confirm the cause and fit the kit. Fisher & Paykel's own Help & Support site has the user guides and parts manuals for your machine, which you can show your repairer.
Washing machine drive belts
We also list a washing machine drive belt: the main drive belt for Hoover and Admiral top suspended washing machines. It replaces Hoover B034, TBVPM020, BW004 and 38528403, and the listing gives it as 3/8" (10 mm) wide, 20" (508 mm) inside and 21" (533 mm) outside. It suits the older medium top suspended Hoover and Admiral automatics the listing names, including the Premier, Commodore and Gemini.
For any other washing machine, read the belt number off the old belt or the machine's manual, and our listing advises checking the manual because a belt can have more than one application. Our Hoover and Admiral belt is an M-section belt (10 mm wide). If your old belt is M-section too, our M-section V-belts come in M19 to M50 and are sized by inside length, and makers stamp M belts differently, so go by your old belt's inside length rather than the number stamped on it. Our V-belt sizes chart explains the M section.
Which Bearings Express kit fits
- Pick the ITJ kit if your model is on the list and you want Japanese-made ITJ bearings.
- Pick the 6005-2RS kit if your model is on the list and you want the kit whose listing gives the lip seal size.
- Pick the Hoover and Admiral drive belt if you have one of the older Hoover or Admiral top suspended machines it names.
Both Fisher & Paykel kits are in our bearings collection.
Questions people also ask
Does the kit fit a Fisher & Paykel front loader?
Our listing names models by number, not by loader type. If your full model number is on the list, the kit is listed for it; if it isn't, we can't confirm it.
Is 425009P the same kit as 425006P?
Both our kits replace both numbers, 425006P and 425009P. Our team confirms 425009P's manufacturer number is 403471Y.
Do you sell the Fisher & Paykel door seal?
No. The seal in our kits is a lip seal, sold with the bearings. We don't list a washing machine door seal.
How much does a washing machine bearing replacement cost?
We can't quote repair labour. Each kit's price is on its listing, and an appliance repairer can quote the fitting.
