RDA brake pads by vehicle: which front or rear set fits your Commodore, Falcon, Colorado or Landcruiser

We list seven RDA brake pad sets, each the left and right pads for one axle. Phantom Ceramic fronts fit the VT to VZ Commodore (RDC1331), VE and VF Commodore, Colorado and D-Max, and Landcruiser 100 Series; RDA fronts fit the BA to FG Falcon and Territory; rears fit the VE and VF and Landcruiser, Prado and Pajero.

The listing notes pick the set, not just the badge

Each listing carries notes that rule some cars out. Read them against your car before you order:

VT to VZ Commodore front: standard callipers only, and the listing excludes 4WD models. The 6.0 litre VZ SS and SV8 lines are listed only with standard brakes.
VE and VF Commodore, front and rear: neither set fits the SS Redline.
Colorado and D-Max front: the listing says the set does not suit 285 mm rotors.
Fairlane and LTD: the BF Fairlane 5.4 V8 and the BA LTD 5.4 V8 are listed only with the optional brake upgrade.
Landcruiser 100 and 105 Series: both share our front set, but our rear set lists only the 105 Series (FZJ105 and HZJ105). We don't list a rear set for the HDJ100 or UZJ100.
Territory: our front set lists the SX and SY for 2004 to 2005 and the SZ 4.0 for 2011 to 2016. For a Territory outside those years, send us your VIN first.

The VY and VZ Adventra appear on our VT to VZ front listing, but the same listing excludes 4WD models, so we've left the Adventra out of the table. Send us your VIN before ordering for one.

Some listings name the RDA number of the set (RDC followed by four digits). If your old pads came from an RDA box, match that number. If not, order by vehicle. Not sure of your series? Send us your VIN or registration and our team will confirm the set from the make, model and year.

What's in each set

Each listing is one axle set: the left and right pads for the front, or for the rear. Our listings say a brake pad wear sensor is included for vehicles that need one, and that the pads are centre grooved, shimmed and chamfered.

Five of our seven sets are RDA's Phantom Ceramic, as their titles say. Our listings give the pads an operating range of up to 550°C. The Falcon and Territory front set and the Landcruiser, Prado and Pajero rear set are RDA pads whose listings don't name the compound.

Have them fitted by a qualified mechanic

Brakes are safety-critical. Have pads fitted by a qualified mechanic and bedded in per the pad maker's instructions. Our listings say all parts should be fitted by a licensed professional and to vehicle specifications.

We don't give fitting steps, pad thickness or wear limits. Your mechanic and your vehicle's own service information cover those.

Which Bearings Express pad set fits

Pick the Phantom Ceramic front pads for VT to VZ Commodore for a VT, VU, VX, VY or VZ Commodore, Crewman, Monaro or WH to WL Statesman and Caprice with standard callipers (not 4WD models).
Pick the Phantom Ceramic front pads for VE and VF Commodore for a VE or VF Commodore or Calais, or a WM Statesman, other than an SS Redline. The rear set fits the same cars.
Pick the Phantom Ceramic front pads for Colorado and D-Max for an RC or RG Colorado, D-Max or MU-X without 285 mm rotors.
Pick the RDA front pads for BA, BF, FG Falcon and Territory for a BA to FG Falcon, the listed Fairlane and LTD, or a Territory SX or SY (2004 to 2005) or SZ 4.0 (2011 to 2016).
Pick the Phantom Ceramic front pads for Landcruiser 100 and 105 Series for a 100 or 105 Series, the listed 70 Series, or a Lexus LX or LX470.

Questions people also ask

Do you have brake pads for a VP or VS Commodore?

No. Our brake pad listings start at the VT. We don't list pads for a VP, VS or earlier Commodore, or rear pads for the VT to VZ.

Do you sell rear brake pads for the Falcon, Territory or Colorado?

No. Our Falcon, Territory and Colorado sets are fronts only. Our rear sets are for the VE and VF Commodore, and for the Landcruiser, Prado, FJ Cruiser, Pajero and LDV V80 listed above.

Can I search by the number on my old pads?

Yes, by the RDA number (RDC and four digits) shown in the table. Check the Axle column too: searching RDC1949 also shows our VE and VF rear set. Our VT to VZ front set also replaces DB1331. For any other number, including DB1818, send it to us with your vehicle details.
